Forensic: Debate Continues with More Honors at Carbon (02/08/2010)
On Saturday Feb. 6, 2020, the debaters from Hunter won honors at the Caron High Debate Combat. Amanda Shepherd earned two awards: Third place in Impromptu Speaking and Fourth Place in Storytelling. Connor Gillies also won two honors: Third place in Humorous Interp and Fifth place in Storytelling. Hunter other student competitor, Diana Armeinto, finished in Eighth place in storytelling. (more)
Wrestling: 2010 Wresting Region II Champions (02/05/2010)
The Hunter Wrestling team walked away with a 1st place trophy last night wining the Region II wrestling tournament. Final Scores were Hunter- 372, Skyline-305, Murray-284.5, Cyprus-253, Cottonwood-232, West- 121, and Granger- 45.

Forensic: Debate Wins More Honors at Logan Meet (02/03/2010)
Connor Gillies and Robmary Juarez continued to win honors this year in Duo Interp when they placed third at the Alison Dunn Memorial Tournament (Logan High) on January 30. Two other Hunter speakers won finalists honors: Spencer Wind in Student Congress and Amanda Shepherd in Impromptu Speaking. (more)
Wrestling: The Wrestler win over Granger for Senior Night (01/29/2010)
The wrestlers ran away with a win to finish the regular season beating the Granger Lancers 73-6. This was also Hunter’s Senior Night - which added to the excitement and overall experience. Coach Stauffer would like to congratulate all those wrestlers who dared to step on the mat and compete for their high school. Coach Stauffer States, “Wrestling is a tough sport and I admire the dedication and hard work that it takes to compete for three years. Few dare to try, even fewer make it through the season, you are exceptional men to make it through three seasons and compete as a senior, Congratualtions!!”

Wrestling: Hunter Pummels West High in Wrestling (01/21/2010)
Hunter pummeled West last night in both Varsity and JV Wrestling. The JV finished 51- 6 and the Varsity finished with a final Score of 62-18. This was the wrestling teams last away dual and coach Stauffer was very excited for his team to finish so strong on the road. Hunter competes in the 5A state duals on Friday and Saturday and against Granger in their Senior night on Thursday next week.
