Soccer (M): Playoff Win for Soccer (05/24/2013)
The boy’s soccer team played Northridge yesterday in the first round of the state playoffs. After being down 2-1 at half time, the boys rallied back to win 3-2. Nathan Gray scored 2 goals and Raul Cavazos also scored. Justin Motzkus had some great saves including blocking a penalty kick. The boys advance to the quarterfinals of playoffs where they will face Copper Hills this Friday at 4:00 at the football field. (more)
Soccer (M): Soccer finishes an amazing season! (05/24/2013)
On Friday, our boys’ soccer team faced Copper Hills in the quarterfinals of the state playoffs. In a very close and hard fought match our boys lost 0 - 2. This wraps up one of the most successful seasons our boys’ soccer team has ever had. They are Region Champions and ended the season with a record of 13 wins – 3 losses – 2 ties which is one of the best records in 5a. Congratulations on a great season! (more)
Track and Field: Track at State! (05/20/2013)
Congratulations to the following members of the track team for their fine performances at the State Track Meet Friday and Saturday: Senior Leone Tunuufi set a personal best in the javelin throw on Friday….senior Joey Mathisen and sophomore Sarah Schrom set personal bests in the boys and girls 3200 meter run….. Softball (W): Softball Playoffs (05/15/2013)
Pitcher Jorden Beutler got her 15th win of the year as Hunter highs softball team qualified for the state tournament by beating Lone Peak 4 to 2. Hunters hitters pounded out 7 hits including 2 doubles by Tess Matagi.
